We are still waiting on the fuel truck delivery and do not have an ETA at this time. In the meantime, we are attempting to replenish the fuel supply by manual means. We will continue to post updates on this forum as the situation unfolds.

As of 3:55PM EST, the PEER 1 Hosting NYC datacenter remains on generator power with fuel being provided through the remaining building supply.

Once the building fuel supply has been exhausted, we will be powering the generators through our day tank that has capacity to run between 60-90 minutes.

The fuel tank has arrived at our facility and due to flooding conditions in the basement caused by the weather, we are working on alternative methods of fuel delivery to the day tank located on the 17th floor. As of now, our datacenter team is carrying half-full 50 gallon barrels of diesel to our daily fuel reservoir on the 17th floor, until a more sustainable solution is reached.

While the fuel delivery system is being worked on, the PEER 1 datacenter team is manually carrying fuel loads to the day tank via stairs to ensure the day tank stays filled.

We all appreciate your patience, support and the kind words you've passed along in your emails, blogs and other social media outlets as we work to maintain power to the datacenter. This is especially meaningful in light of what many of you are currently experiencing on the East Coast.

HEADLINE: LATEST NYC DATACENTER UPDATE

Throughout the day Peer1 has been working diligently to keep our generator powered through manual efforts of delivering fuel to our generator. Currently we are reviewing all options and bringing in resources from out of state to deliver fuel to the generators. We will keep you posted on an hourly basis via email and online forums of the status of generator power and provide you as much lead time as possible if it becomes necessary for you proceed with a graceful shutdown of your servers in order to preserve your data.

We appreciate your support and patience throughout the past 24 hours. Our team onsite in NYC and those supporting them offsite are putting forth every effort they can.

As of 00:00 ET Peer1 is still maintaining generator power. We did have slight temperature rise at Site 1 but this has been addressed by technicians. We will provide our next update in 1 hour.

As of 01:00 ET Peer1 is still maintaining generator power. We are still seeing slight temperature increase at Site 1 due to building failure, and we are working on resolving this issue. It's recommended that if possible for anyone to shut off any non-essential devices in the Data Center to help alleviate this in the mean time. We will provide our next update in 1 hour.
